Privacy policy
What we keep when you contact us, why, for how long — and how to exercise your rights.
Who is responsible
The data controller is ΑΛΕΞ. ΜΑΥΡΟΥΔΗΣ & ΣΙΑ Ε.Ε. (also known as “AFOI MAVROUDI”), 8-10 Athinon Ave, 18540 Piraeus, Greece · VAT EL998256769 · GEMI No. 087534602000 · tel. +30 210 411 3095 · email info@afoimavroudi.gr.
What we collect
- Contact form: full name, company, phone, email and whatever you write in your enquiry.
- Email or phone contact: your details and the content of the communication.
- Server logs: IP address, date and time, page and browser type, kept by our hosting provider for the security and operation of the website.
Why, and on what legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a quote — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To perform the contract and meet our tax and accounting obligations, if we work together (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- For the security of the website and protection against misuse — legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your details for advertising or newsletters, and we do not sell them.
Who sees it
Only our company and the provider that hosts our website and email on our behalf. If we work together, our accountant also receives invoicing details, as the law requires.
Cookies and external services
This website does not use cookies and has no analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are hosted on our own server. Links to Google Maps and Facebook are plain links: nothing is loaded from those services unless you click them — from then on their own policies apply.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted within 2 years at the latest. If we work together, records are kept for as long as Greek tax and commercial law requires.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, or object to the processing (GDPR Arts 15–21). Email us at info@afoimavroudi.gr; we reply within one month.
If you believe the processing breaches the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, 1-3 Kifisias Ave, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr.
Legal framework
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019. We do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling.
