Schools & educational buildings

Many children, predictable peak hours and laboratories — early alarm and escape routes come first.

What we install & maintain

The systems for this type of space

In a school, evacuation must be quick and orderly, with children who need guidance. The code requires extinguishers in proportion to floor area and a hydrant system (at least a fire hose cabinet) in every school. It also requires a manual alarm when the design occupancy exceeds 50 people, and automatic detection in higher-risk rooms. Detection covers the whole building where children under 6 or people with special needs attend, or where there are four or more floors (counting ground floor and basement). We supply, install and maintain fire detection, extinguishers and passive fire protection.
