Conrad Athens — The Ilisian
Supply of portable fire extinguishers, certified fire hose cabinets and firefighting equipment stations.
Application
Sleeping occupants, many compartments and kitchens — every system working together.
What we install & maintain
A hotel is full of people asleep in a building they do not know. That is why the code requires early warning, clear escape routes and fire-fighting means on every floor. We take on the whole package — design, supply, installation and maintenance of fire detection, hydrant and sprinkler systems, kitchen suppression and extinguishers — with specialised crews and a single point of responsibility.
Conventional and addressable systems, voice alarm to EN 54-16.

Which framework binds a given building depends on the date the building permit was applied for and on its occupancy classification. The binding requirement comes from the approved fire-safety study.

Frequently asked questions
It depends on the date the building permit was applied for. After 7-8-2018, P.D. 41/2018 applies; from 17-3-1988 until then, P.D. 71/1988; older hotels fall under Chapter B of P.D. 71/1988. If works are carried out in an existing hotel under a building permit applied for after 7-8-2018, P.D. 41/2018 applies: to a functionally independent extension (the extension only); in a hotel designed to art. 6 of P.D. 71/1988, to a change of use or a functionally dependent extension; in a hotel whose permit predates 17-3-1988, only to a change of use of the whole building or a dependent extension exceeding both 50% of the existing building's main-use area and 300 m². Renewing the fire certificate without new works does not require a new study under P.D. 41/2018. There is no longer a separate Fire Service Ordinance for hotels.
In a new hotel (P.D. 41/2018), from 50 beds — or sooner, if the building has two or more floors of main use. A manual alarm system is required in every hotel.
Local suppression for commercial kitchens and its specification are set by Fire Service Ordinance 15/2014 and the fire study. We design, install and maintain the complete system — not just the cylinder.
Yes. Systems anywhere in Greece, with one point of responsibility from design to maintenance. Extinguisher maintenance and refilling is carried out within Attica.
